THE MISSION

THE 7KG PARADOX
Travelling interstate for work, I realised the modern traveller is forced to choose between two flawed options:
- The "Throwaway" Tech Bag: Polyester, cheap logos, and socially unacceptable in a boardroom.
- The "Heritage" Leather Duffle: Beautiful, but flawed by physics.
THE MATH
A full-grain leather bag weighs nearly 2kg empty. With a strict 7kg carry-on limit, you lose 30% of your capacity before you pack a single shirt.
PROJECT ARCHIVE: ORIGIN

[ Q1 2025 ] THE AUDIT
I spent the Australian Autumn auditing the market. I dissected bags from high-end Italian ateliers and mass-market brands.
The Finding: The cheap ones failed at the stitching; the expensive ones failed at the scale.

[ Q2 2025 ] THE SOURCE
We tested Italian leather, but it was too heavy for the mission profile.
The Pivot: We discovered 16oz Hard Waxed Canvas.
The Data: Hydrophobic, abrasion-resistant, and significantly lighter than full leather.

[ Q3 2025 ] ARCHITECTURE
We identified "The Drag" of airport transit. A weekender is perfect for 3 days, but a burden for 7.
The Fix: We engineered a structural Trolley Sleeve on the rear panel. It docks securely onto your main luggage handle.

[ Q4 2025 ] STRESS TEST
The final prototype arrived in Melbourne. We tested the YKK #10 Brass Zippers for torque resistance. We loaded it for a full 3-day loadout to ensure the strap didn't dig in.
Status: PASSED.

ENGINEERED SPECS
THE 80/20 SPLIT
We engineered a rigid, isolate-lined leather base (20%) for footwear and toiletries, separated from the cavernous canvas top (80%) for apparel. Separation of concerns.
MISSION SCALABILITY
Designed to work alone or as a module. We engineered a structural Trolley Sleeve on the rear panel. It docks securely onto your main luggage for zero drag.
MATERIAL INTEGRITY
16oz Hard Waxed Canvas. YKK #10 Brass Zippers. Vegetable Tanned Leather. Materials that get better with age, not worse.
OPERATIONAL TIMELINE: 2026

[ Q1 2026 ] INFRASTRUCTURE
We moved from "Research" to "Execution." We signed the NDA to protect the 80/20 design and delivered the final Technical Blueprint (Version 3.4).
Status: TOOLING PREPARATION.

[ MARCH 2026 ] EXECUTION
Factory operations commence. The digital files become physical reality as the steel cuts the leather.
Action: The 16oz Canvas is laser-cut for pattern matching. Batch 001 production begins

[ MAY 2026 ] VALIDATION
We do not rely on factory self-checks. Upon arrival at the Port of Melbourne, every single unit undergoes a local QC audit.
Protocol: We check for transit damage and leather imperfections before packaging.

[ JUNE 1 2026 ] DEPLOYMENT
The "Commissioning Phase" ends. Batch 001 ships to Founding Members.
The Adjustment: Upon landing, the asset value adjusts to the full Standard Retail Price ($699 AUD).
BATCH 001 STATUS: COMMISSIONING
We are strictly limiting the first production run to 100 Units.
We do not rely on factory "self-checks." Upon arrival at our Melbourne warehouse, every single bag is inspected one last time by the local team.
ALLOCATION PROTOCOL
You are funding the production efficiency.
Founding Member Rate: $550 AUD (Valid Now)
Standard Retail Price: $699 AUD (Effective June 1st)
